We are delighted to report that Leaving Cert student, Brian Durkan, won Gold today at the 32-county Chemistry Olympiad in DCU. Congrats also to Brian's Chemistry teacher, Ms Boyce. St Muredach's has enjoyed a long tradition of success at the Chemistry Olympiads.
Brian and the other medal winners, along with a Highly Commended panel, will now be invited to attend further training in DCU over the Easter break, from 15th – 17th April. The final Irish team will be selected during this time. Following further training at the end of June/beginning of July, the Irish team will compete at IChO 2019, (July 21st – 30th) in Paris, France.
