Fáilte Welcome

School Statement

Fáilte chuig Coláiste Dheoise Naomh Mhuireadaigh.

Welcome to St. Muredach’s College website!

We hope you find it informative and interesting and we welcome your observations, input and support.

The 2013/2014 school year will begin August 22nd. We say a fond farewell to our Leaving Cert class – a new group to join our past pupils union (have you seen our associated PPU link?). Congratulations to those men for their results and their commitment which makes them a credit to the school. Congratulations also and thanks to our dedicated team of teachers and support staff at the College.

The School Management of St. Muredach's College can confirm that an unauthorised person was removed from the school by An Garda Siochána this morning. At no time was there any risk to the students attending the school.

Secretary, Board of Management.

Achievements 2013/14

We would also like to extend thanks to the parents for their support and to the traders and people of Ballina for their unstinting support - ni neart gan cur le cheile –

We welcome back all our students and issue the challenge
Viriliter Agite – do us proud in 2013/2014.

A special welcome is extended to our first year students. We hope they have a positive and fulfilling time in St. Muredach’s College and leave here with a group of friends for life as I did many years ago.

We are energised by the challenges facing us in 2013/2014 and we are confident of delivering a full education service to our students. As you will see, we continue to offer a full range of subjects. Our first year students study every subject and then choose what subjects that best suits their curricular needs in second year. We also offer a full co-curricular and extra-curricular programme.

Any support for our school is always welcome.
